I intensely dislike bugs. I mean I really, really dislike bugs. But because its almost Halloween I guess I must get creepy for the followers and I cannot think of anything creepier than flies and spiders. OK, let's get creepy!

This fly reminds me of a wonderful place up in the Cascade Mountains that I found last summer. Really a beautiful place with a babbling brook (yes brooks do babble!) surrounded by evergreens and peace and quiet. So we decided this was a perfect spot to have a picnic. We got out of the truck and were attacked by flies. I mean I have never seen so many flies in all my life. It was just downright gross. We laugh when we think of that beautiful place that turned into a nightmare and I refer to it as The Land of the Flies.
I don't even have a category for these awful bugs!
