Wild honeybees live in natural structures while domesticated honeybees live in man made beehives. Inside the beehive are hexagonal cells made of beeswax called honeycombs. Bees use these cells to store their food, i.e., pollen and honey and to house their eggs.
Man made beehives serve two purposes: production of honey and pollination of nearby crops. These hives can be moved to other areas so the bees can pollinate other crops in other areas.
