First Snow in Seattle, Rosemary and a Chicken Family

Woohoo!  Our first snow in Seattle!

Here is a photo of our rosemary bush covered in snow

I always feel like a little kid when it snows.

Rosemary is an evergreen native to the Mediterranean and Asia and can grow up to five feet tall.  Our rosemary plant loves it next to the pond and it quickly grows to "out of control."   We constantly have to trim it back or it will overtake everything.  I think I will start trimming it into some form of a topiary this year as they are perfect for that.

Rosemary is rich in iron, calcium and vitamin B6 and is yummy on chicken.  So here is a chicken family for you.
