Vintage Apple Jam Label from P.C. Flett & Company
Here is a lovely vintage apple jam label for you. Notice the P.C. Flett Company was located in Kirkwall. I couldn't find any information on the company but here is some about Kirkwall.
Kirkwall is the largest city and capital of Orkney, located off the mainland of Scotland. It is first mentioned in recorded history in the year 1046. It has a population of about 8,500 and provides ferry service to other islands. Kirkwall still has many 17th and 18th century houses and two museums. One of the museums contains a 16th century home within it and the other museum deals with the history of radio and recorded sound.
